About our Yoga and Fitness Classes


Decompress the body and the mind. We want you to meet your expectations, not ours.

Our yoga and fitness class sizes are small compared to many yoga and fitness studios. We feel that you are doing yourself and your body a favor by taking a class and that you should get your time and money's worth for that. With smaller class sizes our instructors give a better experience. Some studios have classes with as many as 50 people or more making it difficult for an instructor to ensure that everyone has good technique and alignment.

Men and women who attend our classes regularly experience profound changes in their body including dramatic weight loss, improved strength, endurance and flexibility.

Yoga for Beginners


What to bring: mat, small towel, bottle of water, an open mind.
Yoga classes are traditionally practiced with bare feet.

Prerequisite: none

Many of our classes are suitable for beginners interested in starting a yoga practice. Our class sizes are small and our instructors are able to give more personalized instruction and adjustments for beginners. If you are new to yoga, just let the instructor know this and they can help you get a positive start to feeling great through yoga. Classes recommended for beginners:

  • Friday, 1:30-2:45pm Yin/Gentle Yoga with Megan

  • Sunday, 4:30-5:45pm Vinyasa/Restorative with Nicole

yogaRok - Power Yoga with a Soundtrack™


What to bring: mat, small towel, bottle of water

Prerequisite: Pracitioner must have attended at least 6 Vinyasa classes in the past 12 months

Room Temperature yogaRok classes with "(Warm)" in the title have a room temperature of 80-82 degrees. Other yogaRok classes have a room temperature between 74-76 degrees

A fun, athletic power Vinyasa yoga class with music - yogaRok is a high energy workout, athletically challenging positions and music. Yoga mixed with music to add some fun and the yoga poses become stronger with focus... and you can't help but smile! yogaRok is easy to follow, yet each class is unique and guided by an experienced teacher. Our instructors make sure that no matter what level you are, you'll be able to follow along. Even the same teacher takes pride in mixing up the workout with creative sequences. Don't be surprised if you find yourself having fun and laughing in yoga, and leaving both relaxed and energized at the same time!

Level 2/3 - designed for those that are ready to go into more challenging poses. Alignment is continuously a focus, arm balances, inversions and other poses to explore beyond the basics - fun based with run music too!

Aligned Vinyasa Yoga

Room Temperature Aligned Vinyasa classes have a room temperature between 72-75 degrees

Vinyasa Yoga

Prerequisite: none

Room Temperature Vinyasa classes have a room temperature between 72-75 degrees

A dynamic, physical practice of yoga where breath and movement are linked together through unique sequencing of postures.

Power Yoga


What to bring: mat, small towel, bottle of water

Prerequisite: none

Room Temperature Power Yoga classes have a room temperature between 80-82 degrees

A heated class based on the Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga sequence that will challenge your body, mind, and spirit. Power Yoga is suitable for all ages and all levels. Be prepared to sweat, unleash your potential and find your inner power!

Yin / Gentle Yoga


What to bring: mat, yoga therapy balls(available to purchase for $15 or rent for $3), small towel, bottle of water

Prerequisite: none

Room Temperature Yin/Gentle classes have a room temperature between 72-75 degrees

This soothing, therapeutic class is designed to restore balance to a busy lifestyle by exploring the more calm and meditative aspects of yoga. Class is a combination of relaxed floor postures (held for several minutes at a time), slow flowing movements coordinated with the breath, and gentle core strengtheners. This nurturing practice will relieve stress, keep the joints flexible and quiet the mind. No previous experience necessary, just come with an open mind and a desire to unwind.

Due to the meditative nature of this class, latecomers will not be admitted after 5 minutes of the start of class.

 

Mat Pilates


What to bring: mat, small towel, bottle of water

Prerequisite: none

Room Temperature Mat Pilates classes have a room temperature between 72-75 degrees

Traditional and not so traditional Pilates movements performed at a high intensity. We will isolate, tone and work the entire core, legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. With emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core, we will improve coordination, balance and overall flow of the body. Different levels/abilities are welcome!! Performed in a slightly heated room. Please bring your mat and wear something comfortable. Let's get ready to rock!

"Drench" Cardio Hip Hop


What to bring: dance sneakers (non-marking), small towel, bottle of water

Prerequisite: none

High intensity Hip Hop Cardio class that leaves you drenched. This is a whole body workout, both cardio and muscle while enjoying great music.

Shoes needed: Athletic shoes with a non-marking bottom.

Boot Camp


What to bring: athletic sneakers(non-marking), mat, small towel, bottle of water

Prerequisite: none

Get in shape with an ingenious mix of dance, cardio training, toning exercises, and ultimate core workout. Get dramatic results with proven methods to increase strength, enhance endurance and jump start your metabolism. Great for any fitness level enthusiast since you are encouraged to work at your own level and your own intensity.

Zumba™


What to bring: dance sneakers(non-marking), small towel, bottle of water

Prerequisite: none

Zumba┬« fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got Zumba™!

Shoes needed: Athletic shoes with a non-marking bottom.

General Policies


Studio Rincon welcomes everybody... all skill levels and ages. We are dedicated to providing a place for people to enrich themselves physically and mentally in a positive, safe, and easy going environment. We strive to be a positive addition to and member of the community. We have listed these policies to provide the best atmosphere possible.

  • Arrive at least five minutes before class, 10 minutes, if it's your first time at Studio Rincon.
  • For your convenience we offer registration online.
  • Always sign in at the front desk before class and make sure you have registered prior to class.
  • No children or guests are allowed in the old studio lobby during yoga. This is the area inside of the studio, with the large black chairs. Because the studio is visible through the glass, it can be a distraction during yoga when others are sitting in this area.
  • No food, drink or gum in the dance/fitness area.
  • Please wear shoes with non-marking soles.
  • It is not the responsibility of the instructor or studio for loss of materials or items left in the studio, lobby, restroom, or other areas of the building.
